Accessions Chairman Named
Tommy and Becky Peebles attended the August meeting of the Alvin Museum Society. Tommy was recently named Accessions Chairman for the Alvin Historical Museum. Along with his phenominal memory and love for local-history facts, Tommy is the ideal choice to head the committee responsible for logging in the museum's artifacts.

When speaking to Cleo Congrady, I was told that Tommy Peebles would be in charge of deciding what the museum accepts and what it does not. Now I hear that he has proposed a new numbering system. This is the third numbering system. Sounds like more delay. A committee was appointed to work on the entry into the computer of already existing ascensions in the Museum. That committee came up with a procedure that was accepted by Cleo Congrady. It has yet to be used, nor has that committee met again.
